About Us
We’re Brett and Karen Bissell, a local, family-run real estate team helping people buy and sell homes across the Portland area, with special expertise in Sandy, Oregon, and up the Mt. Hood corridor. Since 2018, we’ve worked full-time in real estate and have successfully closed over 100 homes. We believe real estate should feel clear, honest, and well-guided—not overwhelming. Our job is to listen, explain things clearly, and help you make confident, informed decisions.
Brett Bissell
Brett is a Principal Broker with a background in business and leadership. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and before real estate he worked as a Human Resources Director, managing teams, solving problems, and negotiating complex situations. That experience translates directly into real estate, staying calm, seeing the big picture, and helping clients navigate big decisions with confidence.
Karen Bissell
Karen is a Principal Broker who spent 10 years as a teacher in Elementary Education before transitioning into real estate. She’s patient, organized, and great at explaining things clearly, skills that make a huge difference when buying or selling a home. Karen genuinely enjoys helping people through the process and making sure they feel supported, informed, and taken care of from start to finish.
Meet the Family
We live, work, and raise our family here in the Pacific Northwest, so helping people find the right place to call home really matters to us. We love this community, the outdoors, and getting to know the people we work with. By the end of the process, most of our clients become lifelong friends, and that is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.
